Playground Without Limits Home
Why It Matters
Play is crucial for child development, supporting physical strength, emotional regulation, creativity, and social skills. Traditional playgrounds often leave children with physical or sensory challenges on the sidelines, where an inclusive playground fosters empathy, friendship, and equal opportunity.
Our new Riverside playground will create equity in play by:
- Encouraging peer interaction and inclusive friendships
- Providing safe spaces for sensory processing and calming breaks
- Allowing mobility device users to navigate and participate fully
- Demonstrating to all children that diversity is welcomed and valued
Three Phase Plan & Sponsorship Opportunites
-
Phase One ✔
Using capital funds provided by the district and donations, Phase One will bring age-accessible equipment for our newly added preschool section and is on track to be constructed in the summer of 2025.
Phase Two $730,000
The most significant investment of our fundraiser comes in phase two (our current fund drive). It brings a large, universally accessible structure that includes free-standing pieces, accessible platforms, sensory boards, slides, and more.
Phase Three $50,000
Our third and final phase will replace our zipline with an accessible zipline and additional swings.
